Best meal we had in Rotterdam, hands down! The food was INCREDIBLE! Everything was so flavorful. We decided to order family style so we could try a bit of everything and I’m so glad we did! Every dish was so good, but if I had to pick my favorites, I would say the Strawberry Risotto (I know it sounds weird, but trust me!) and the veal with bacon chefs kiss The only thing I have to mention is that one of the waitresses told our group of 12 that there was no room, when clearly inside was completely empty. I don’t know if she told us that because she assumed we wanted outdoor seating or because she was overwhelmed by the size of our group on a busy night, nevertheless, it wasn’t good customer service nor a good look on the restaurant. Someone else from our group ended up asking another woman who gladly escorted us to the upper level inside the restaurant. She was so helpful and kind and totally redeemed our first interaction. Lovely Italian restaurant in Rotterdam Noord! Apart from the menu, they have many weekly changing options for starters and main courses.

We tried some of the changing courses and experienced incredibly delicious mussels served with some Italian sausages sauce as one of the starters. Their concept encourages you to share as many dishes as possible to try more food, so they offer primi and secondi - the first main meal followed by the second. Of course, it’s up to you, and you can always choose to go with one main dish instead.

We had pistachio pasta that turned out to be slightly salty because of its meat. The desserts and their cocktails were delicious, though! Overall, a great place to visit - the changing options make it even more exciting and make you want to come...

From the moment we entered, we loved the atmosphere and how friendly and welcoming EVERYBODY in the staff was.

We had a last minute booking there for a birthday and the table was still busy so we got offered bubbles and bites. The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was amazing (though we took too much because we couldn’t limit ourselves and wanted to taste most things) from the starters to the primi to the secondi. We ate so well that we sadly couldn’t try the deserts.

The staff was really as lovely as the food and Tosca is genuinely a bit of italy in Rotterdam. They deserve their success even tho it's one of these places you wish not a lot of people knew so you’d wish they always have...
