We were the very first people that came after opening for the day. The lady in her 50's was very impatient and not customer friendly. We were still deciding on what to eat, barely 5 minutes, and she came and went through a few pages to tell us what is good. But we didn't even ask for this. There was literally no other customer, and she was very impatient. We decided on our food, but apparently one of the dishes had no chicken anymore. So, I told her if she could give me the menu again to have a look, she was annoyed to go and fetch the menu again. Then she stood awkwardly next to me and telling me what is good to eat. But I just wanted a few minutes to decide on my own. I even gave her a hint that I need more time, but she kept standing there. No smile nothing, very impatient.
After we had finished our food I paid, she didn't even thank us or anything. Told me the price and paid.
The food was VERY good! The shish kebab, the polo, the noodles. Very good, but unfortunately, we are not coming back, because of the service. Too bad, because the food is worth coming back for.
Train this lady in basic customer friendliness and the restaurant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were the only people inside for pretty much 40 minutes after 5:50pm. There is no muzak, just silence, the decor reminds one of a wedding dress boutique, and they didnāt have liangpi or cold shredded tofu (plus itās no alcohol). BUT all that said: the food is top-notch. The hand-pulled noodles had an irresistible sauce that I uncouthly drank from the bowl. The chuanār skewers were spot on. And the chicken noodles (essentially, āsmall plate chickenā) were brilliant when taken home to eat for breakfast. The bean sprouts were an afterthought; the Uyghur polo is apparently made with chicken, not lamb, so we didnāt order it. The impressively multilingual server was solicitous. NB itās a tad pricey, though we definitely overorderedābut having the chance to eat food this good, of this kind,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went for a dinner on Jul 26. Very good locationz, right at the start of China town. We arrived right at 5pm and they are already open. We are 2 adults and 3 kids, ate the medium size dapanchicken for 30 euro and a pizza for 19 euro. It is authentic xinjiang taste and very generous portion, the kids love it. And we were all very full. Luckily I didn't order more dish or it would be a waste. I also ordered the lamp skewer, but pity that the bbq wasn't working that day. The restaurant is run by a family and they were very friendly. The dish came also quite quickly. For the review that says the toilet was not very clean, I find not the case. Just one thing, some of the dishes on the menu, you need to order in advance, for example the xinjiang nang. I will sure...
