Unfortunately, we havent tried the food so I cant say anything about it. But the service was very rude and not flexible on our order … I wanted to order a Schwarma without some of ingredients on it because I cant support it. Her answer in a very annoying way was «No this ingredient is 50% of the Schwarma , choose something else ! » « here we keep 100% original lebanese » bla bla bla … so check the card first before going there if you have any allergies or dont like some ingredients for example because they wont change anything to keep it « authentic » and they think you « disrespect » them if you do so from what I read in another comment lol… luckily we found another lebanese not so far who is more open minded and understanding while keeping also their value and authenticity in their food without being rude ❤️😊…

Update : I am not even surprised by your answer see how rude you were and now playing the victim 😂 to clarify yes, you told me the onions were mixed in so no problem at that moment, I went outside to explain it to my wife who was taking care of our baby and she agreed to take the hummus one instead. The problem began when I asked for myself the schwarma without Parsley and Pickles (politely) then you started to get annoyed and rude out of nowhere (nice customer service lol) ! I told you I will pay the full price and asked you how do you do if people have allergy or something and your answer « I understand but NO choose something else » in a super rude way ! You do like I asked you to put pineapple on your Schwarma, 😂 but I just asked you to remove 2 things I dont support at all and you can just answer politely « we can do it but it wont be authentic lebanese » for example. If you are not flexible and open minded enough its also ok but just write that you don’t change any ingredient on the menu so customer dont lose their time to deal with this kind of behaviour … So yes I stormed away like you said because of how rude you were and you were not helping to find something else but impose me ! To finish, I have been to many lebanese restaurant in Europe who always been friendly and welcome people so far ! So sorry to have some doubt about your 100% authenticity that you claim a bit too much from my point of view but I dont...

A Taste of Home in Rotterdam – Perfect Manouche & Beautiful Nostalgia!

Visiting Baladi Manouche was an unforgettable experience that took me straight back to Lebanon! The taste of their manouche is absolutely authentic just like the ones I grew up eating in Beirut. The dough was perfectly baked, the za'atar was fragrant and flavorful, and every bite reminded me of home and specially to school days!

What made the experience even more special was the nostalgic atmosphere. The graphics and decor transported me back to my childhood, especially seeing designs that reminded me of my old school in Beirut—one of the city's historic landmarks. It felt like a warm, comforting embrace from my past.

The team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and gentle, making the visit even more enjoyable. Their hospitality truly reflects the spirit of Lebanese warmth. 🇱🇧

If you're craving real Lebanese manouche in Rotterdam, this is the place to be. Thank you, Baladi Manouche, for bringing a piece of Lebanon to the Netherlands. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended!😍

Yesterday I finally managed to visit Baladi Manouche in The Hague, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior, designed with care, perfectly blends modern touches with authentic Lebanese charm, making it a cozy spot to enjoy a real Lebanese meal.

The za’atar Manouche was phenomenal — the true Lebanese taste and high-quality ingredients. I tried the cheese Manouche, and it was bursting with flavor. The Knefeh was also VERY delicious.

Being Lebanese , and tasting this food took back in my childhood !!

What really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients and made as if the place was in Lebanon! You can tell everything is made with love and attention to detail. The staff (All) were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. THANK YOU 🙏

Love the atmosphere and the paints inside. The smell of the zatar is also amazing.. If you are Dutch/European go try it.. 😁 But if you are a millennial like me and grew up in the Middle East knowing how a real mana'eesh should taste, you could probably skip this place. I really missed the crunchiness! And the cheese mana'eesh with "Akawi cheese" was way too salty. The cheese used for the Knafeh was too hard and, for my opinion, cheap. I would love to support this kind of Middle Eastern food concept. But sadly, this did not satisfy me.
