During my visit to KUA Mexican Kitchen, I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the food and the friendliness of the staff. The experience was enriching in many respects, with flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Mexico. Each dish presented at the table was a new adventure, full of taste and crafted with care. However, as someone who enjoys dining at a leisurely pace and savoring each bite and sip, I found the concept of a time slot somewhat restrictive. The idea of lingering over a meal, having the time to truly appreciate the food and ambiance, was somewhat compromised by this limitation. There are so many delicious flavors and dishes I wanted to try, but the pressure of the time slot made it difficult to relax and appreciate the meal as I'm accustomed to. This aspect also influenced my perception of the price-quality ratio. While the quality of the food was undoubtedly high, the overall experience felt somewhat rushed due to the time constraint. For me, part of the value of a meal is the ability to enjoy and linger without having to watch the clock.
Nevertheless, KUA Mexican Kitchen offers an authentic culinary experience with staff that are definitely worth visiting for those who seek authentic Mexican dishes. My hope is that in the future they might be more flexible with the time slots, allowing everyone the opportunity to enjoy the rich flavors and hospitality they have to offer at...
Read moreTo the owner of this place: please work on improving the hospitality of your staff. I understand people might have a bad day but the welcome we got was awful and we left immediately: I made a reservation at least 1,5h before where the staff told me they would have seats available. Once we arrived we were the first guests and the following happened: no one greeted us, we just stood there for a minute or so and I had to raise my voice to say Hi to be heard Only after that the guy with the glasses asked for our name to check on reservation he just walked away to check, didn't came back and didn't say anything while cleaning tables... so we were like what's happening? then he came back to us asking our last digits of the phone number because the other staff (female) apparently made a mistake While cleaning the tables he stood with his back to us saying that we need to wait to check if we actually made a reservation... we just stood there for 3 - 5 minutes not being greeted, or seated or welcomed at all.
Dude with the glasses, you need to work on your communication skills man! We did our part as customer and got treated like we weren't welcome. We just left and will never come back nor do I advise this...
Read moreThe only positive aspect of our visit was the waitress—she was attentive and handled herself well under pressure. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the management, who seriously need to reassess their professionalism. Blaming staff for management’s shortcomings is not acceptable.
We arrived about 10 minutes late, and the waiter who greeted us immediately gave us instructions about their strict reservation policy, which cancels bookings if you're late. While we accept responsibility for the delay, the way it was communicated lacked basic courtesy.
The worst part? While eating my soup, I found a sharp piece of hard plastic that actually cut my tongue. Quite hazardous. I calmly informed the waitress, who apologized and said it would be removed from the bill. Unfortunately, that promise was not kept—we were charged in full. This was not just unprofessional; it was unsafe.
To top it off, the entire restaurant filled with smoke from chilies being fried in oil upstairs, leaving guests coughing and sneezing—completely ruining the atmosphere.
All in all, it was a hostile and unpleasant experience. We will not be returning, and I will be advising my friends and network to...
