De Pizzabakkers Theresiastraat — Restaurant in The Hague

We've been coming to this Pizza Bakkers at least once a month, sometimes even twice, and the waiters and waitresses were always very nice, the pizzas also good, the reason why we kept coming. Unfortunately today we were coming again but at 20:50 they told us the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes so no more pizzas were being made, not even for takeaway (on a Friday). I also work in gastronomy, and when the kitchen is closing at a certain time, it stops taking orders at exactly that time, no more, no less.

This place looks cute from the outside - and I was not disappointed!

Wonderful drinks, delicious thin-crust pizzas, and amazing sauces & appetizers. I recommend the limencello spritz and the truffle sauce with the crust dippers - yum! The owner also gave us a lot of personal attention which made it extra special.

The only thing I would improve is the speed at the beginning of our experience -- it took a little while for someone to come take our drink + food order.

But overall a really wonderful addition to Bezuidenhout - we'll be back...

Nice restaurant, excellent service. The pizzas are good, but not groundbreaking though. They use good quality ingredients (great olives!), but the toppings are not generous enough. Dough is good and crunchy, but it misses the flavors of a good oven. We had a good time at this restaurant because it is professional and the servers are great, but if you are really hungry for authentic and generous pizzas, for the same price, there are a couple of more interesting alternatives...
