Absolutely ridiculous!

We were served barely decent Indonesian cuisine, they just reheated what was in the refrigerator. That was still fine but the serving was measly; 3 pieces of barely marinated thumbed sized chicken is not considered a dish.

The worst of all, we asked for tap water specifically and they gave us a bottle of water without telling us we had to pay 6.5€ for it, this is absurd! We asked the waiter about this and they refused to remove it from the bill despite us telling him that we did not order bottled water and that we specifically asked for tap water, and he had the cheek to tell us after that they did not have tap water after charging us for it....

We do not recommend anyone to come here if they are keen on Indonesian food, there are so many other places that serve much better tasting Indonesian cuisine without charging insane prices for the dishes and water.

I have never had such bad dining...

Ik heb echt jarenlang in een zijstraat van de Theresiastraat gewoond, vlakbij dit restaurant dat blijkbaar al 40 jaar bestaat. Wij zijn dol op Indonesisch eten en zijn altijd op zoek naar nieuwe adresjes. Via een bekende kortingswebsite die wij vaak gebruiken om kennis te maken met verschillende restaurants en dienstverleners, bij Sarinandé. terechtgekomen. De bediening is heel vriendelijk. De bijgerechten zijn vrij prijzig. Met gemiddeld 2 drankjes pp, hebben wij alles bij elkaar toch nog ruim 40,- pp bovenop de vouchers betaald. Mandje krupuk a 5 euro met hele stevige pindasaus. De kroket kentang en vooral de martabak waren erg smakelijk. De saté-mix had goed gemarineerd vlees en was lekker gegrild, maar de saté babi was wel erg taai. De dorade was te ver gefrituurd (hard) maar de sojasaus erbij was lekker. Nog lekkerder zou het zijn als de saus warm was. De buikspek was veel te hard en gortdroog. Die hebben we goeddeels laten staan. De terong blado was erg lekker, net als de nasi goreng met een vleugje trassi. De spekkoek is naar onze bescheiden mening, niet huisgemaakt. De meeste gerechten zijn vol van smaak en authentiek, maar sommigen stelden uiteindelijk wel teleur door de matige bereiding. Eindcijfer:...

Went here for lunch and ordered some appetizers and snacks. Just 1 table beside us and waited 1 hour for the food. Lemper was ok and nothing special. Steamed bun with rendang was undercooked and very tough. Mixed sateh was a disaster, because the chicken was not in stock and the pork and lamb were too tough to swallow.
