LEO's International Flavors — Restaurant in The Hague

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. On the first evening, we had dinner at Leo's and the experience was mixed. The Falafel Burger was quite good, 9/10, though slightly dry. The Sticky Chicken was flavorful but far too salty, so we'd rate it 6/10. The highlight was the Dubai Chocolate Mousse, which was absolutely delicious.

We had planned to dine there again on the second night, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. It was busy and we sat for 10–15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or letting us know if we could be served. Restaurant and menu look fancy. Service is though not the strong part of it. First the waiter was a bit of angry that we do not have reservation, although we as hotel guests did not consider it would be so important to have such. Other hotel guests also were kind of reprimanded that only want to have a drink on the restaurant table instead of eating, thus keeping the table busy. Wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts in Den Haag zwei mal im Leos gegessen.

Der Burger: Das Brot war ein Standard Burgerbrötchen aus dem Supermarkt, der Patty mit ziemlicher Sicherheit auch. Zwar medium gebraten aber insgesamt ziemliches Cafeteria-Feeling. Pommes in Fett ertränkt. Für 19€ eine echte Frechheit.

Cesar Salate: Frische Zutaten, zusammenfassend sehr lecker.

Ziegenkäse: Der Ziegenkäse war schön angerichtet mit ein wenig Salat und hat gut geschmeckt.

Das Grüne Curry: War kein Curry. Eine Hand Voll reis, ein bisschen zugegeben leckeres Rind, ein Paar Sprossen und Chili, Ende. Kleine Portion wie vorher von der netten Bedienung angekündigt, aber nicht die 17€ wert.

Deserts: Sowohl das Panna Cotta als auch die Creme Brûlée waren sehr lecker.

Der Kaffe ist ein Traum!

Mir ist durchaus bewusst, das man im Hotel nicht das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis erwarten kann, aber das war wirklich ein bisschen drüber.
