I made a reservation for 8 people here and explained when making the reservation that half of us were vegetarians. I was reassured this wouldnāt be a problem. When we arrived the server explained that for groups they usually do a an all-you-can-eat concept where the chef decides what to serve until we said enough. Because we had different dietary preferences, I personally would have preferred Ć la carte but the server insisted that the chef had prepared a delicious selection of dishes so we went with their recommendation. I cannot say that anything we ate was bad, but everything was underwhelming, there was a long gap of time between the boards, and the combination of dishes that came felt disconnected. The spread for the bread had too much garlic, the selection of cheese on the board were limited and mostly very mild-flavoured, the shrimp was under-seasoned. I think the olives were the best part of the selection. I canāt comment on the Ć la carte menu, perhaps that would have been better. For me a tapas concept where the chef chose the dishes meant that there should have been a wider selection of smaller dishes that rolled out quicker. I expected a better thought-out selection considering I had called in advance and we followed the restaurantās preference of doing an all-you-can-eat for groups. By the time we got to the tortilla de patatas it was already almost 10 pm. Furthermore, the communication between the server on the floor and the chef in the kitchen needs improvement (we told the server that we were about to be full and only wanted the tortilla and shrimps as a last dish, but they came out with a large plate of bland salad). I also would suggest that the server needed to be more pro-active in clearing up empty dishes and bottles. All of this being said, the atmosphere of the...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad dinner here on 6 March 22, and the service was very poor. It took an hour after ordering to receive the first dish (a tuna salad), which was only okay but certainly doesnāt need an hour to prepare in a restaurant occupied by 1 other table. The chicken dish was also mediocre, but the chorizo with cognac sauce was very good.
The waitress informed us it was her first day and she was not too familiar with the menu. This was not her fault, but more of a criticism to management for her lack of training and no other staff to assist other than the chef who came off as quite rude.
I would avoid this restaurant unless you want to wait over an hour for...
