This is my first attempt at this restaurant after living so long in NL. We were supposed to have our dim sum at another restaurant, but a friend recommended that the food here was good. So, we went there with very high expectations of the food, which should have a perfect taste. We ordered dim sum, foh lam, roasted duck, Hor fun, and glutinous rice. The taste of the food was not super amazing, but the price was reasonable. The noodle (Hor fun) is tasteless, but the glutinous is good. Roasted duck is perfect with crispy skin, but roasted pork is too salty, but it comes with crispy skin. Then, for the dim sum, the Har kau skin is too thick, the same as the Cheong fun, too. Siew Mai is big and tastes fine. The ngau chap tastes good, just missing some herb taste. Improvement in the Cheong fun taste, making it thinner and smoother, would be perfect. Surprisingly many Chinese guests. The highlight was the staff, service was good. They will crack a smile, are affable and helpful with questions. But we obviously came for the food and not the staff so not recommended. Room for improvement,...

first, the shrimp dumplings have thick skin..and tasted a bit like plastic. the rice flour pancakes with shrimp also had thicker flour skin…same with the siu mai! so while they looked bigger, their quality were a bit reduced as they were not so flavorful. however, we did like the custard buns.
lastly, one minor thing - the vibe was not as traditional and lively as compared to e.g., Full Moon City, which can kind of influence one’s...
