Warung Mini XL Den Haag — Restaurant in The Hague

Haven't tried that many Surinamese places yet, but this is surely one of the better choices.

They have duo variant sandwiches, their dishes are freshly made (you really taste the difference) and the lady at the desk was friendly!

This might not be the best comparison, but of the 'Pom' or 'Bakkeljauw' are warm, soft and different texture than at Amazing Oriental food corner. Really nice to have tasted this here.

The place isn't that large, that's true. But during our lunch time, there was still tables available.

The ordering system was also easy to understand and to deal with. Will surely visit Warung...

Since the "big" move from the "small" location it is very busy during peak eating hours. So lunch and dinner time it is packed. The quality of food has not changed, however the quantity has been reduced. The restrooms are clean and the staff very friendly. Good vegetarian and meat options. The food is typical Surinamese food. A fusion of Chinese, Indian and Creole cuisine. For those that have someone at home who can cook this cuisine very well will not be blown away. For the less fortunately it's a great meal. Best to call ahead of time for seating...

I was walking along and stepped into this place & wow! It is the finest ever - good, tasty food & absolutely reasonable! Also with great quantity. For my stay of couple of weeks, this became my daily joint for dinner! The coconut milk shake - Dawat was really great and the surinamese point bread caught my best attention. I wud have over n over again! My favorite pick if u're in The Hague City center. It is opposite Mercure Hotel and close to The Novotel hotel/Suites. They've vegetarian options also.
