Mixed feelings about this place. The food is unpretentious but very nice - the chef knows what he’s doing and is doing it well. Prices are very reasonable. The waitstaff however, sweet and helpful as they are, lack experience. They have no idea how to manage on a busier night. This results in long waits, dirty tables, lots of panicking and spillage - and quite a few irritable customers. The owners would do good to hire one or two experienced waiters, to teach the ropes to all those friendly 18 year olds. They are trying hard, but failing miserably for lack of guidance and training. Update as per 11 April. Had to downgrade to 1 star. The food has gone down in quality while delivery times are up. Waited an hour for a lasagna, and it was unevenly cooked and almost no ragout in it. It would have been better to get a pre-made lasagna from the supermarket. At least tere is some meat in it! And the latter would have had better texture, your pasta was overcooked from te microwave so your delivery times are ridiculous!

If you want a 5 star review deliver 5 star food in time. I will not be bought off with a special phone...

Went here last night with three friends for the first time. What a lovely restaurant with staff who were all warm and friendly. I've been to many Italian restaurants here in the Netherlands, aswel as in in UK and Italy. I can honestly say that my pasta dish of carbonara was the best pasta course I've ever eaten. The truffle was not spared and was delicious. Top marks for everything. Almost forgot, the Tiramisu...
