Simply Thai — Restaurant in The Hague

Nice restaurant, not very big, very nicely decorated and very clean. Staff is friendly, helping quickly, giving advice and really looking after you. The menu is filled with a lot of options. As to expect the desert section is not impressive, but the rest is. The food is presented nicely, all very classy. In the restaurant there is a large screen on which you can see the dishes been prepared in the kitchen in the basement. If the weather is good you can sit outside in the front or in the small but cozy garden in the back. The dishes taste very good, lots of tastes are combined to an amazing food experience. As a guest alone without a reservation I got a table at the front, where others later could choose their tables more inside the restaurant. This costs one star penalty. The bathroom is super clean. So, so delicious and fresh, every time we order! Portions are very good and very tasty! There is a very good selection to chose from, plenty of True Thai dishes but ofcourse using the local vegetables is a small inconvenience due to import problems and high taxes. Perhaps some tourists from out of The Netherlands donot understand that here food is prepared for the Dutch taste, so reviews from "International food critics" should really be more sensitive and less arrogant. "When In Rome..." as the saying goes. For The Netherlands, this is one of the best Thai food places. good food. it has been adapted to the local clientele so it really isn't particularly spicy but fortunately they haven't gone done the overly sweet route that other thai restaurants in netherlands are guilty of. The room is comfortable and service is friendly.
