Nestled in a charming corner of the city, this eatery exudes warmth and vibrancy, a sanctuary for those who seek solace in flavors that speak of home. The soft hum of conversations, the golden glow of ambient lighting, and the subtle aroma of spices dancing through the air create an atmosphere that is both intimate and inviting. Each detail, from the rustic wooden tables to the delicate artwork adorning the walls, tells a story—one of tradition, comfort, and culinary passion.
On this special day, a plate of steaming momos arrived at my table, their delicate folds glistening under the dim light. The first bite was an embrace—tender, succulent chicken encased in a silken wrapper, each morsel carrying the perfect balance of warmth and spice. Accompanied by a fiery, aromatic chutney, the flavors unfolded in layers, igniting the senses and soothing the soul. It was more than just a meal; it was a journey—a fleeting yet profound moment of connection to the familiar, even in a place far from home.
As I savored each bite, nostalgia intertwined with celebration, weaving a memory that will linger long after the last morsel was gone. This wasn’t just food; it was comfort, joy, and a reminder that no matter where we find ourselves, there are places—and flavors—that can make us...
Read moreWe recently tried this place twice within a week. Both times we were not disappointed. The Bombay Street Food Company offers quite a wide variety of street food and other dishes, and everything we have tried has been delicious.
My personal favourite would probably be the Kathi roll (Kolkata style chicken roll), which was an absolute flavour bomb of delicious chicken with lashings of tangy spiced sauce in crispy flaky flatbread. The chilli stir fry which can be ordered either with gravy or dry, using either chicken or paneer. The versions we tried (dry paneer, chicken with gravy) were both delicious.
The garlic naan was deliciously crispy yet fluffy, and very aromatic. The keema pav can probably best be described as an extraordinarily flavourful spiced sloppy joe. The butter chicken was one of the better ones I have had, especially in the Netherlands, as it's not too sweet. The mango lassi is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.
All in all: we can really...
Read moreI strongly advise against ordering delivery from this place. The photos on their website are misleading. They sent us a very poor-quality biryani that was soaked in oil and had an artificial color. The meat was dry and looked like it came from leftover plates before being mixed into my biryani.
The roll was terrible; it tasted stale and disgusting. My total bill came to €40, but I only managed to eat one bite before I decided to make myself poha at home for dinner. I will never order from here again.

However, writing an honest review on Google is the right thing to do, and your reaction to customers shows just how much you...
