From 1-10 I give 7.5 to the food. It was tasty and I love the style of the restaurant. However, from 1-10, I give 6 to their service. We had one waiter to bring us all the foods we ordered via WeChat, he was very friendly and very helpful! We had another waitress supplied us with drinks. She was a bit arrogant, I am not sure it’s because she doesn’t speak English or too shy. The thing was when she brought us something (which I do not remember what it was), she hit over my friend’s tea cup and the whole cup of tea pulled out. She saw it and she did not help us to clean it up nor said a word. She acted like nothing happened. I think that was super rude honestly. When we done with our dinner we had some food left and requested them to pack it for us so that we could bring it home rather than throw it away. At first we came here last week at 12pm, no customer was there but we were rejected because the staff said at 1pm it will be fully booked (I was amazed, wow this big place been fully booked maybe there was someone held a party? Idk). So, I made a reservation a night before we came and we get a table. But I notice the staff checked my reservation on the PC while she didn't check other customers' reservation on the PC, she only nod when they came and offer a table (I can see every customer that came in because I seat facing the entrance). Read moreThe fact that we've been eating here twice in two weeks says a lot how we liked the foods, service and ambiance in Vulcan! We had to bring our family here too for the second visit and they all liked it.
The meat selection is varied, but my personal favourites are the ribeye, beef rump, lamb cheek and chicken skewers. For the soup, we have tried the mushroom, curry and spicy salad oil - the mushroom is a must! It's very tasty and light enough for every condiments. If you want spiciness, you can always make your own spicy dipping sauce. So many other options in the menu, it will cater your preference even the pickiest ones.
