Read moreSilk Road Tilburg is an excellent resturant showcasing the Central Asian Cuisine mainly focused on Afghani food. The place is run by young entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic to showcase their culinary traditions in the Netherlands. Food was 😋 yummy and service was excellent too and staff were friendly and kind. Their Kebabs taste as authentic as you were eating them in Afghanistan 🇦🇫. Their naans were yummy but bit smaller than original size perhaps they have adopted smaller size of Naans to meet the European apatite for the bread. The only downside was the restaurant interior laid into a tunnel format, which might be difficult for claustrophobic people. Their interior design was beautiful but compact. They perhaps consider lighting arrangements by reducing the amount of traditional lights on the ceiling as they were too many in too little space. Rest was fine and food was great. Therefore we highly recommend it to try it if you find yourself in Tilburg. We will surely visit in atleast one more time. Big thanks to the staff and entrepreneurs for their hospitality. Good job guys 👏 keep up...

Staff: Great! Excellent timing, genuine, assertive & friendly. Restaurant has a good team.
Drinks: Oh my god so good! Mango lassi was very tasty! It is however a small beverage for €3,20, but it is delicious. Silk Road chai tea was also amazing!! I was expecting a milk tea, however it was a great tasting flower tea. Steeped a little long, but delicious regardless.
Concept: Too erratic for me personally. I wanted to start our order with route 1 and route 3, all together. Server advised us that it was tapas style and to start with route 1. After which we got a nice assortment of mostly bread dips. After a closer look route 3, was more an echo of route 1, more naan en dips. So it was too much of a repetition for us to order this route. You could also order the tapas dishes against small prices from the menu. However we did not. Possibly if we had more piece of mind in our schedule and not suffer that much from overchoice. But for now, it was not a match.
Food: Super quick! Garlic naan is yummy, plain naan is okay. The tapas we got with...
