Klopa — Restaurant in Tilburg

Since I have Balkan roots, I was super excited to eat some traditional food. Me and my boyfriend ordered around 7pm, 10 ćevapi and 1 pljeskavica, with extra kajmak and rice and cabbage salad. We have waited until 7:45 , then we just politely asked if they didn’t forgot us, they said no, and we forgot to tell we can’t give you ćevapi we arranged one pljeskavica instead. We asked if we can order something else they said no, they have nothing else, although they have many other things on the menu. Anyway we waited so long and we’re hungry so we didn’t bother. And then around 8pm, they brought us the food. The bread was wet, and sticky. My pljeskavica was burned underneath, my boyfriend’s pljeskavica was raw inside. Kajmak that we paid extra for was not kajmak but just paturan. We lost our appetite and asked for the bill. No one from the stuff bothered to ask us why we didn’t eat. No one asked if everything was ok. They brought the bill, and I said can you pack the meat for my cats? The waitress just said ok. She put it in some aluminum bowl and didn’t had a bag. She said sorry I don’t have a bag, thanks for visit and come again. Also, I had an open cookie with my tea served. Klopa, nestled in Tilburg Centre, offers a delightful Bosnian dining experience that pleasantly surprised me. Opting for their mixed grills, I found the Cevapcici to be decent, but the other meats stole the show with their amazing flavors. Despite a small hiccup of our order being delivered to the wrong table, the staff swiftly rectified the situation, displaying genuine care for our dining experience.

I am very pleased that I found this very cute place in Tilburg that serves Bosnian food! I really rarely come across such a great price/performance place in the Netherlands. Everything we ate was extremely tasty and EXTREMELY filling. The ćevapčići I had was served in a delicious bread just like in all Balkan restaurants. Plate was also filled with onions, cream (kaymak) and ajvar sauce on the side.
