When we came, we were suspicious why a restaurant with 4,8⭐️ was completely empty but do not be fooled! This was amazing! The service was very good, the waitress was very nice and explained everything we needed to us. The food was a slightly long wait but we know it’s being cooked downstairs by the 2 chefs and it was worth the wait: the Nasi Goreng was delicious!! The Rames Rendang (tenderloin beef with green beans) was also great, like “comfort food”. The grilled chicken with rice was very good too! (strong grilled flavor) Highly recommend! Desserts: Rasa Cinta: Didn’t expect this to taste cheesy🤔 the ice cream it was served with was good Klepon: Very unique unexpected flavor, the filling was good but I probably wouldn’t get it again. Especially when we didn't order too much. 2 starters, 2 main dishes and a few drinks. They took such a long time to serve us, prioritizing even people that came after us. The starters were relatively tasty and even though everything was so slow, I was expecting that the main dishes to be at least good. But nope, i was served half raw chicken! How can you mess up chicken? The waitress did nothing about it. The other waitress was running after other clients who apparently payed the wrong check. Such a mess. I never write bad reviews or reviews in general. This place managed to be my worst experience I ever had at a restaurant in the Netherlands. You can taste the love these owners and staff put into their dishes. The owners have so much knowledge and stories about recipes and food traditions, it is so interesting to talk to them. this restaurant stands out amidst of many other restaurants where owners are only in the business for profit.
