Delicious cappuccino and cinnamon buns. This place definitely has quality products.

The attitude of service however, is what I would best describe as 'indifference towards guests' or/and a little 'cold'. At least to me, since it is my personal experience. This happened almost each time i visit the place. Regardless of my effort to enter the cafe with a positive attitude and a smile. I do not know the reasons for this attitude.

The atmosphere is in my opinion leaning towards a more scandi/industrial sober style. This style is pritty common in the (student) city of Utrecht. I struggle in my search for a warmer, more cozy (cafe) atmosphere...

My favorite spot for bread and coffee in Utrecht!

District is hands down my favorite place for bread and coffee in Utrecht. I always get one of their kaneelknopen - they’re absolutely delicious! Their latte macchiato is also one of the best I’ve had. I think it’s because their espresso is smoother and less bitter than what I’ve had at other places.

Their tarts look incredible too - I was so tempted last time, and I’m definitely planning to try one on my next visit.

Just a heads-up: seating is only available outdoors, but it’s a cozy and charming spot to relax and enjoy...

[coffee review only] Not the place to go if your in for a good specialty coffee. Knowledge, price/ quality, variety, and work routine are not up to standard for a coffee place. Although friendly staff and I recon a nice place for lunch with a friend or so. I would suggest keeping the focus on food instead of trying to market yourself as a coffee bar by putting ‘coffee’ in the name, selling coffee gear, and over doing the ‘bocca’ merchandise. This will mislead people on there expectation and get the coffee enthusiast...
