I hope they were short staffed because I cannot understand how it took over 60 minutes to bring small plates of pasta out. The hostess was amazing and you could tell she felt horrible (brought us some bites to eat while we waited) but considering the pasta sauce and pasta was probably pre cooked and frozen I genuinely don’t know what the chef was doing the whole time. Everyone’s food came late, the whole restaurant was on edge waiting for their food. He would heat up a few pastas at a time and bring them out, and I could have made better food after a night out. I do not get how they have such a high rating but if anything make the portion sizes bigger, offer free bread for everyone and get another chef to help out. It's a really tiny place with tables located too close to each other. So when it's full, it gets really noisy and you can't hear each other because of the tables next to you. The beef stew and duck were really nice. We also like the aubergine hummus but the crispy bread served with it tasted really old. The Panna Cotta was creamy but missed some highlight like vanilla. If not for the pistachio paste on top, it would be nothing special. We also expected homemade pistachio paste and not a bottled one 😔 The latte was also a disappointment. The foam was more of the bath foam-like than what's supposed to be in a latte. The coffee itself was mediocre.

Ndujame is a true gem for anyone who loves authentic Italian food! The quality is exceptional, both in the products they sell, like their 'nduja and guanciale, and in their kitchen. I’ve been there several times for aperitivo, enjoying drinks, Aperol Spritz and a delicious tagliere full of typical Italian delights.
