This is a superb bar with a great and I mean, GREAT range of beers and drinks!! Most of the beers are local and very enjoyable. They do excellent food too. The staff were really friendly, helpful and more than happy to give advice and suggestions on what drinks might suit your taste. It's a stone's throw from De Helling venue and if you're going to a gig or show there, this should definitely be a pre or post (or a pre AND post if you want to indulge yourself!!) stop off. Read moreI just love the atmosphere at this place, loads of beers, friendly and happy staff, busy but not too loud and a wide range of foods: appetizers, easy dinner or full 4 course menu and all with vega(n) options. Yesterday we had the 4 course menu, were blown away by the quality of the first two courses, the main was just normal good and only desert wasn't really our thing. The beer pairing was the best thing as it really took me out of my comfort zone and had me giggly by the end of the night. I'm definitely coming back for more. Read moreI went there on a Wednesday evening with friends for drinks after work. Even though we reserved the table but the restaurant was not busy, so we could have easily walk in. However I have seen it to be busy on weekends, so better to reserve the table. They have a nice terrace next to the canal which is great on a nice sunny day. The toilets are upstairs and are clean generally. They have wide variety of beers to choose from. If you want to try new, ask the bartender. They have nice finger food but the main course is okish.
