Just had dinner here tonight with a friend. I asked the waitress what she would recommend and eventually she recommended "their most exciting dish" which was their 'Eggplant Schnitzel', she described it as a true surprise. Unfortunately, when it got served I was very disappointed as this "most exciting vegan Eggplant Schnitzel" was just a big slice of eggplant tempura. Not so exciting, nor were the flavours as they were just very bland. I asked for some salt, but never got it. I wanted to give the 'Rice pudding with cucumber sorbet' dessert a try and shared it with my friend. The sorbet was quite nice, but the rice pudding wasn't a pudding at all. It was just bland sticky to dry rice without any flavour, NOT a pudding. The presentation and the way the entire thing tasted was like a weird dry Poke Bowl with just rice and some sorbet on the side. I thought it was just me after the disaster main course, but my friend said the same thing. I've tried to eat here with other people before which wasn't great at that time either. And I hoped over time that things would have changed a bit and the food got better. Unfortunately this was not the case. I wont try to come...

Kitchen nightmares-level of poor service and food quality. Pro tip: if there are only 2 cooks and a packed venue, stop the service. There weren't enough people on the floor as well. The server didn't know how to pour the wine: he didn't let us taste it first, just poured holding the wine bottle like you would with a beer one. To top it of the food was god awful. The chef's menu was 6 tiny dishes + 2 deserts for two people. That's the dinner menu. Dishes were nothing more than poorly-cooked vegetables with heaps of miso or salt and no sides: just one piece of vegetable per dish. Even the dessert was too salty. How can you screw up every dish especially if it's chef's menu? We had to wait 40 (fourty) minutes until the first and between each subsequent dish and 15 minutes until dessert. We left hungry and with enough salt for the rest of the year. 27 euros p.p. for the menu is way too much for something that doesn't even add up to a starter.

The place is always crowded and noisy. But at least the food used to be good. Maybe time for...

I may be the odd one out. But I didn’t enjoy the place. The server had some prejudice or so do I believe when we were served. We hadn’t book a table in advance which is the right thing to do. I didn’t enjoy the food and I have been a vegetarian for all my life of 40 years and in my country vegetarian means people who don’t have egg in poultry and any form of meat. So, yes plant based food with milk and milk products equals vegetarian. So after finished food we wanted to leave after paying bill to try another place as my partner is a non vegetarian and he wanted to try another place.I could see the server roll his eyes and speak to fellow workers and they all peered at us. I hadn’t said a word about the food. I don’t want people’s opinion when am eating. It was an uncomfortable experience. This was probably the one place where I felt like an unaccepted foreigner in whole of Netherlands. Am sorry to hurt anyone who will read this. I felt very sad and low after leaving and kept thinking what did I do that they...

One cozy vegan/vegetarian cafe and omg I don’t mind going vegan again.. we tried the breakfast set menu which includes a coffee of your choice + pancakes + banana bread and something savory from the menu.. The sourdough with egg salad dressed with oyster mushroom bacon and chives.. quite good 👌🏽 My favorite is the Shakshuka.. it came with a tofu scramble and a feta + dill + hazelnut garnish.. n rucola too which was not in the menu.. I was matching their menu description with the dishes I had 😅 Really get busy so better to make a reservation.. not sure you can go otherwise.. and set menu is 21.50€ Nice staff and good service too.. whole meal came together and warm and delicious.. On the web, menu includes an orange juice but apparently it’s not.. also pay attention to the bill if your going for the set menu, they might add your coffee separately by mistake :)

Delicious and original dishes! Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. The kombucha and cosmopolitan mocktail were very good. I opted for the 4-course menu with dishes Portobello, Stekelzwam, Pruikzwam and Yoghurt ijs as dessert. The portobello dish was amazing, especially paired with the focaccia. The Stekelzwam dish was very avant-garde with the potato foam, but good overall. My favorite dish by far was the main course Pruikzwam. It was an absolute explosion of flavors and the preparation of the lion's mane mushroom was insane. It was super meaty both flavor and texture wise. The ice cream dessert paired with olive oil was a pleasant combination. The Oerpeen and Bloedsinaasappel dishes were also delicious according to my friends who ordered them. Overall very interesting dining experience and would love to return.
