The food is delicious, but the service falls short of even the basic expectations. We were not aware that the restaurant does not have a la carte and only after an appetizer and drinks were served were we informed that there is but one menu and that the items in the menu are a “surprise “. I had the best dinner of my life at Zala's. I was nervous when I arrived since I didn't know what was going to be on the menu that day, and I consider myself a picky eater.
