I’ve stopped in for lunch on occasion since they opened. But after today I wonder if it’s under new ownership. The food has always been ok but nothing special. But wow, today’s small lunch was spectacular! Coriander prawn dumplings were the best I’ve had in Auckland. Loaded with big juicy prawns, super fresh and the wrappers just thick enough to hold the filling together without being too chewy. And you can’t beat the price at $9 for 4 of these beauties. Steamed pork buns were the perfect consistency, not too doughy, with just the right amount of yummy, sticky filling. I suspect they are working on a new menu as many items on the existing are crossed off. I look forward to trying anything they may add but for now, I just want to sample all the different dumplings! What a place! If you search for real authentic dishes from SE Asia then you've found the right place. I have been to 🇻🇳 twice and I lived in Taiwan for many years and so the food is just the same as made in Asia. Guys are working so hard and crafting their creations to perfection. I'm over the moon that my friends introduced me to this place. Their English is great, so no problems in communicating plus you can see their menu.
