RE Burger Remuera — Restaurant in Ōrākei

We visited ReBurger Remuera after hearing it’s often compared to Raising Cane’s back in the States. To be honest, I don’t really see the similarity—if you’ve had Raising Cane’s, you’ll know their chicken tenders are smaller and the fries are on the dry side. One thing’s for sure: Kiwi ingredients are next level compared to what you get in the US (if you’ve ever tried Cake Boss in America, you’ll know exactly what I mean). At ReBurger, we ordered the Great King burger and the Original Chicken Tenders box. The burger was just okay—the buns were a bit cold, which was disappointing. But the Original Chicken Tenders box was a standout. The portion was generous, the fries had the perfect crunch, and the chicken tenders were moist without being greasy. So many "I'm here joining on the titok hype" reviews so I thought an honest one was needed. I drove by and saw this place and got curious as it was always full of people. I went to try it and I will say I don't understand the reviews here. Chips were overly salty. The supernash was not spicy at all but juicy. The Famous Castle was very similar to a big mac. Living right in between ReBurger and Burger Winsconsin I don't really see myself coming back. Is not bad, dont get me wrong. But is not 5 star "best food I've had" good, there are better options available. I don't believe or agree with all the 5 star ratings here, too much social media "hype", they don't feel honest. GO AND HAVE A FFED!!!

We saw a Tik Tok one night and we decided to go in to have a try and wow! We were right. I am so happy with the food and the service was very warm and welcoming. The owner of the store/s was in and he asked if we were having a good day and how was the meal. I will be going back to try a different burger. I ended up having Queen chick it read as a simple burger but geez, the chicken was soft and juicy, the sauce brought it all together very well. And my girlfriend had holy smoke, which was saucy and juicy and all came together just amazingly.
