I have refrained from leaving this review for a couple years as the staff are genuinely so lovely and offer great service. HOWEVER there are some things that really need to be addressed. The cabinet food is consistently disappointing. The lasagna is NOT a lasagna; it is an overhaul of spice along with just a massive dollop of straight tomato paste on top, not to mention it just tastes of straight vinegar (idk what vinegar is doing in your lasagna but it shouldn’t be there). $14 for a ham and cheese croissant is literally robbery - especially when you put the bare minimum of cheese and ham and just 2 slices of tomato. $9 gets you a sausage roll smaller than the palm of your hand and their pies are inedible and taste like a mixture of body odour and vinegar.
The coffee is great every time, and the front of house staff are so kind. I just think the chef needs to either be fired or given training by someone who knows what they are doing. And if you’re going to charge exorbitant prices, make sure your food actually matches the quality that you...

I won't be back again due to receiving a stale custard cabinet product and quite possibly the worst chocolate milkshake I have had in my life.........it was borderline warm and went straight in the bin along with the custard slice. The yoghurt and orange muffin was AMAZING however. I returned today for eggs on toast, and to report the above feedback particularly because the server had at the time promised the milkshake maker made the best milkshakes..ever.........ummmmm no. Ample opportunity to put things right, albeit even...
Read moreWent here for lunch, it was very quiet. We were greeted and seated straight away and given water. We had the BLT and the Crepe. The BLT came in a bun and had good flavours. It looked large but was easily devoured by my partner 😋 The crepe was served with seasonal fruit (and quite a lot of it) - banana, melon, grape, kiwi, orange, pineapple along with some jus. I enjoyed it and felt one crepe was enough considering all the fruit. It felt not too heavy despite the rather large size of the dish. Coffee was tasty, nice and hot and the staff were friendly. We don’t live in Newmarket so probably won’t return but we...
