Newmarket Park — Attraction in Waitematā

This huge park is a bit of a gem. It has lots of green space, and nice trees and rocks to hang around and jump off (if you are that way inclined). My kids love zooming around the pond on their bikes (about 100m long circular path), and there is a climbing structure and a "Roctopus". Newmarket park holds many secrets. If you are ever parked in the warehouse carpark and need an hour to kill, I recommend walking down cowie street then into Newmarket park, then out the secret exit which takes you - eventually- to remuera road. Then following the traffic back to warehouse carpark. Who knew there was so much adventure to be found...
