Pandoro Panetteria — Restaurant in Waitematā

Got a scone. Very average dried and cold just like all three staff members whom I was served by.. why it took three staff? I am not sure.. one was at the register.. she looked at me and I smiled said hello 😊 she walked away.. not even a hello or an acknowledgement apart from the annoyed look she gave me. The second girl came, once again I smiled and said hello, then said may I please have a scone.. she took my money, asked if I wanted it toasted and butter? She had no expression at all.. then she also walked away. .. then another girl came and handed over the scone in a bag, placed it over the counter and walked away. Even before I grabbed the purchased scone.. what is wrong with you people? Did you not get basic human customer service interaction training? First and...

Recently visited Pandoro Panetteria in Parnell, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! This bakery truly captures the essence of a good bakery and offers a wide range of delicious treats that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

The moment I stepped into the bakery, I was greeted with the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The display case was a feast for the eyes, showcasing an array of beautifully crafted cakes, pastries, and pies. It was evident that the bakers here take great pride in their creations. However, I need to mention that it's not a truly authentic Italian bakery, more of a glorified New Zealand bakery.

Steak pie was average with chewy meat, mince pie just fell apart...

Use to be a regular but am completely put off now. I can understand slow service when short staffed and busy but when quiet, not good. The final straw for me is this one staff member, who completely ignores me, and I mean ignores to the point I swear I am invisible to him. The rest of the staff are friendly and like to chat, but this one guy…just looks straight past me even when I'm asking for service and am less than a meter away from him.
