The toasted sandwiches are the best thing at this shop. Apart from being white bread, they are good portions and taste pretty good. The gourmet burgers aren't bad either, if you can afford one. The guy on the hot plate takes care about his cooking and he even fries the cheese, but the classic steak and egg burger has no meat paddy, the lettuce isn't fresh and the egg is always way overcooked. The fish is fresh, but the batter is a bit disappointing. The oysters tasted a bit off too. The chips are ok, but you really don't get much for your money. I mean, how much does it cost them for a little bit of potatoe? It would have been n nice to walk away feeling full, but overall, not a bad place to go. The staff have always been really friendly. Certainly the case here. It is by no means cheap either so I was very disappointed. If you want burger and fries then BurgerFuel is far far better.
