As we were observing what was happelning around us while eating ,we noticed a young lady named Romi (Trainee) using her initiative to do what needed to be done e.i ( wiping down all the tables, sweeping up, filling up the drinks in the fridge etc. M) She was also very polite, had a lovely smile and great customer service skills. She was the only one working consistently whilst everyone else wasnt. It wasnt busy, but slow , however she didnt just stand around gossiping and just being lazy, but found things to do. We are old school, so we know what work is and how to work. This young lady Romi impressed us hence why I gave 5 stars for service, because of Romi. Shes only a trainee, and will be at Cavandish Drive KFC next week...The usual workers in my opinion could learn a thing or 4 from this young lady, Romi..being so young too. Bravo Romi. Keep up the fantastic work. We thank you for your hard work. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💯💯💯💯💯😊😊👍👍 P.S - I just remembered that the chips that were given to us was so salty that I asked Romi if she could replace them with non salted chips, which she did immediately. We were thankful and told her so. Last but not least, the toilets were very very disgusting. When customers use toilets here, they should always be cleaned frequently thoroughly because alot of bottoms sit on them, doing what we all do in toilets. Someone could have any sort of contagious desease, or have diarrhea which can soread from one person to another, which needs to be thoroughly cleaned with Ajax and Bleach together. Its important to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in any food places - Restaurants, pubs, cafes with toilets, takeaways etc.Not only is it great practice sticking to basic health and safety protocols, but its important for ones reputation as a business and I think it shows how they appreciate their customers. Its amazing how reputation can affect a business, not just an individual or...
Read moreFinger licking good? I don't think so. Bucket of original chicken is generally greasy and bad. What we got was what we expected. The chicken for original seems dry. I'm not sure if it's they they are cooked but it doesn't stand up to the supermarket roast chicken or chicken from nandos cause they are moist. Paying a premium for 20 wicked wings. Wicked wings is basically crunchy wings. Spice is like a 1 and sometimes 2 at best but the quality for kfc is down the hill. If I remember correctly wicked wings have the red paste/glow/marinate underneath the skin and was 6-8 for spiciness for me. Food came fast. Maybe even to fast (felt like 5mins). Chips seems fresh but under seasoned. Had to ask and all they did was splash a bit on the top so when the food got home the bottom was still unseasoned. A few of the so called wicked wings taste a bit overcooked. Like it's supposed to be golden brown but it tasted like it was in the dryer for a bit too long any longer and i think it would've been obviously burnt. Place kinda seemed chill but I think it's well ventilated for the kitchen. Eating there is like eating outside since there's pigeons in here. Almost done eating the chicken and then they notice pigeons and a staff chased them away. Took the rest home. And Hayley didn't seem friendly. Coke is coke. If they messed up the drinks any more I would've straight up recommend this on a blacklist. It's a shame they removed krushers.
I wonder if Jollibee will come to NZ and save the day. I always want to try that since it's popular and I've only...
Read moreThe first time ever using the app I ordered a Value Pack via the app and not knowing the process drove through the drive through to pick it up. The girl on the counter told me I had to pick the food up from the front counter, but if I asked at the next window I might be quick enough to collect it from there. I politely asked the young man if I could pick up my order #29. He said no that I had to come into the shop. That was good. So I get in the shop and I am waiting for my order. Standing there for almost 15 minutes, eight other families in front of me were served well before me - they did not have app orders but ordered straight from the counter. There were about four other people beside me who had app orders with numbers MUCH HIGHER than mine i.e number 45, 73 etc. The young man who I had spoke to before asked me what my number was and I repeated that it was 29. He looked around and then ignored me. I then had to speak up as no one was listening to me. I then asked the bigger guy where my order was. He looked confused. I then said, "Oh you gave it away didn't you?" He then defensively said, "You should be standing at the counter asking for your meal not there!" I then saw red and told him that I had asked the young man working with him twice where my meal was, and he even asked me again what my number was. I was disgusted at how they ignored me as I was waiting patiently for them to call out my number like they did for all the other four people who ordered via APP. These people are nothing but rude...
