First time experiencing Texas Chicken at Manukau Mall 19/12/2018 9.15pm. Was a very long line with only one open till however I was very impressed with my clerk Angela. She was very polite, friendly and I soon got over the wait with her lovely customer service. Great job getting through as many orders as she could.
With the food however they did seem to have run out of certain items such as the spicy chicken pieces and also the bread rolls. I initially chose my meal to try all of these items however settled with a original 2 piece pack.
There did seem to be a lot of confusion from the kitchen through to the front of house with orders and items that had sold out, however I could see only Angela making an attempt to try rectify customers orders from the lack of communication. The other 2 staff on with her including the cook was not very helpful and one lady seemed very angry and adjatated which is very unprofessional for customers to see.
All in all I loved the food I was able to try, more tills and operators should be on during peak times and restocking of popular items a must. Read moreOrder #327 20/06/19 6.55pm Arrived home to find out that there were missing items from my order. I called the manukau store and spoke to one of staff, explained the situation. Staff then passed the phone to the manager which I explained to her again what had happened and if the items can be delivered to me. I was told by the manager that she will have to talk to her boss and the boss will call me the next morning. She then hung up on me! Appalling service! The francisee need to seriously look at this so manager they are hired. When you travel to get dinner for the family and to arrive home to find out there isn't enough for everyone and to be told by that store they will sorted out the next day! It's not good. If you guys make the mistakes then own up to it and try come with option to resolve it straight away but waiting for the boss to solve them the next day. ?????? Maybe look at arranging uber eats to fix your client mistakes then and there so you won't get these kind of reviews in the future. Read moreDon't typically review food places but believe this had to be shared. Started off ordering Habanero family meal, where I struggled to understand the lady serving me, where it was just back and forth finally concluding my order. Upon waiting I could see the two ladies talking away one sitting down (near the til) both smiling away, bear in mind this was a busy time on a Friday night (6:30-7:00pm). Received my order and realized it was the wrong order where I had received way too much food (two boxes of chicken and 6-sides) and instantly returned it. Received my order for the 2nd time and went home and found not only had I received the hot and spicy chicken (not honey & habanero) but also the sides we're incorrect, receiving three small gravy and chips oppose to one large gravy, large coleslaw and chips as part of the package deal.
In the past haven't had the best experience where a lot of times spicy chicken and sides weren't available and even missed items (honey buns), which I could overlook, but this was the nail in the coffin. Sorry but feel this had to be shared in hopes to see overall...
