Manukau Motor Lodge — Hotel in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

We had an incredible stay here. We were here for my sons tag competition so we stayed here. I was greeted by two lovely ladies at the front counter, lovely customer service, nothing was a burden for them, lovely smiles and even had a laugh... This is the first impression and how i knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Nice spacious clean rooms, great airflow, we stayed in the top rooms and were going to be out for the whole day so this was a place to relax and sleep after a long day and that we did, nice comfy beds, tv for my son to watch while he relaxed. Lots of 'storage' places to put luggage so you didn't feel cramped, good lighting and a great view off the deck. There is a pool there however we didn't use it as we were out all day and returned back late but definitely would be nice on a hot summers day. Location is very central to supermarkets, mall, eating places. Very affordable accommodation, you get what you pay for and that is value. I will 100% be staying here again and highly...

Stayed here for a couple nights, was sad to see there was no air-conditioning as I was hot from working. They give you a fan. I also noted on the first night, there was no soap or shampoo. Both nights had loud people in the parking lot / music blaring from the neighboring residence. Is this hotel used for social housing? That's fine if so, but please update your website to be more transparent. Woke me up at 2:30 am both evenings. Left hotel after the second night, to go back to airport. Could not find my JBL $300 headphones that I had stored in my suitcase (Only use them on airplane), so called the hotel to inquire. They said they didn't see anything left behind, but I'm a bit uneasy as I think the cleaners took them. Hard to prove either way, but it was a miserable trip. We enjoyed a few nights here recently The price is reasonable and the location is close to the airport and heaps of places to eat. There is a large supermarket over the road so really it had everything. The motel itself was fine. The service crew were a great bunch of friendly happy people who ensured the room was clean and looked after each day. Really excellent. TJ on the front counter was a joy. What a smile and can do attitude, so often neglected. She really helped us out. Thank you. The motel was on the flight path but the noise levels were actually very low so that was not an issue at all. The only issue was a loud outdoor concert one day that was very loud.
