Mexicali Mt Eden — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

I took the California nachos , i personally think they need training on how to make it better. I gave 1 start to food just because theres almost no flavour to it , the chips tastes like a week old , no seasoning on anything i dont know its probably just me that likes salt and pepper in my guacamole and when i asked for the mid- hot chilli sauce theres no hottness it just taste as tomato sause and usaly you use a cheese that can smelt alot leaving you with most of chipps with melted cheese but cheese they used in few minutes it all just stays in middle not melted and starts setting .. today was first day trying it but unfortunately i wont go back .. And also usaly the place you work you should know what items you have because i asked what chilli they were using in the hottest chilli sauce so that i can see if hot or not … but...

I’ve only been twice to this place, the new design is interesting however the chicken on my tacos was old and dry, hard to chew, no flavour, the hot tots were yummy, the eco packaging is great! I went back to try the hot tots and was told they didn’t have them and when I asked for churros i was asked how many…? The menu doesn’t say how many… weird? anyways i was served reheated old fried churros and they were a oily…. Food fantastic, atmosphere fantastic. Horrible service by the man in the kitchen and behind the counter. Seemed like it was an inconvenience we were here. Wasn't helpful and short with everything. He was like what do you want. I asked how his day was and he didn't respond with anything. He seemed unhappy with the world. I was happy to leave because he wasn't kind. As I said the food was fantastic , great spot. Service was disappointing and a total let down to the experience .
