I come here at least once a week for a soy Capp and they always do an amazing job! I usually get mine to go, but after just a few visits the people working here remembered my name and my order. Everyone who works here is super nice and I always look forward to coming in!
I brought a friend here once and we had coffees to stay. I am usually a brekky at home type of girl, but my friend ordered the muesli and I was drooling it looked beautiful!
The ambiance here is super chill, it's a great spot for brekky, lunch, or just a coffee. They don't have wifi, so if you work online, maybe this isn't the spot for you, but I could totally see myself coming here to get some writing done if I could ever get off my couch.
They don't do particularly exciting latte art (the one drawback), but the coffee is top notch and it's just a fab place all around. Very hipster and trendy, great coffee and fab service. Totally recommend if you're...
Read moreWe are regulars here. But our last two visits have been absolutely let downs. I believe they are now under a new owner/management. Today, we waited over 5mins before being greeted. People around everywhere waiting around 10min for a coffee. We eventually got seated after about 12 minutes. Waiting for menus, water and cups which normally would arrive straight away. It took about another 15min before our order was taken after flagging someone down. Another table had got up and walked away by now. The lady, whom I presume is the new owner was at the counter serving customers, moving around clearing tables as well as taking orders. 2 other staff making coffee. Plus staff working in the kitchen. That was it. Very very different to the calm but active mood RAD once was when service was excellent.
Food was acceptable, but we will no longer be regulars at...
Read moreSuper friendly service, complimentary coconut sugar, complimentary chilled T2 tea. But as much as I wanted to love this place, the flavours just weren't very tasty.
The Banh Mi had a generous serving of tasty grilled pork, but not quite enough pickled carrot/cucumber or coriander for an authentic flavour. The bread was adequate, but wasn't quite the crispy crusty fluffy fresh Vietnamese baguette it could have been. The 70% dark chocolate shake was okay, but for $8 seemed a little lacking - it wasn't as rich or chocolatey as the description might suggest. The ribs came in quite a large serving and were okay, but again just not very delicious. When we ordered, our super friendly server commented that the Banh Mi and the Ribs were the tastiest things on the menu... so that was a little disappointing. Might be back to try something...
