What criteria do you have when you choose a place for coffee and catching up with friends? For my wife and I, we look for 4 things, i.e. friendly staff, good coffee and food, comfortable environment and adequate parking spaces. We have found our ideal place at Pandoro (Mt Eden)! We like it so much that we would go there for lunch during most of the week days and morning or afternoon coffee with friends on weekends.
The team serving you at Pandoro, Mt Eden, is marvellous! They are super-friendly and warm towards the customers. They always smile and greet you as soon as you are there. The team work seamlessly, making sure that you are served efficiently and pleasantly.
The coffee is more than good; it is excellent! Their pastry and bread are great. In particular, if you like pies, Italian or European bread, this is the shop to go for them.
As a bakery, this shop is spacious and open with a relatively high ceiling too. The decor is welcoming and the Roman figures depicted in the strip of the "wall paper" under the ceiling is very appealing to us. We have had lovely times sitting down there and chatting with friends over a cup of coffee or a chocolate or tea with cakes or snacks.
