We came here for some latte art and this place did not disappoint!
The atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The staff are welcoming and attentive.
There's a great variety on the menu from breakfast, lunch, evening, desserts, wine and drinks. Compared to your regular cafe there isn't just one item on the menu that's vegetarian but a good selection of uniqye dishes.
I ordered the Eggs Florentine. It came out piping with runny yolks, succulent mushrooms and banging flavour. My friend ordered the Smashed Avo Sourdough Tartine and she had no complaints even though she normally hates asparagus. We ordered a hot chocolate and mocha and got the most adorable 3D latte art. The drinks were delicious, they did not compromise on the heat. A bonus was that real chocolate was used, which mades a difference in quality that we could taste.
The only issue was that we only received our drinks as we were going to finish our meal (which is understandable since of the effort).
I would highly recommend this place. The food is top notch and the drinks are divine (caffeinated...
Read moreThis shop has a good reputation and we come here to buy coffee pretty often. Yesterday morning (around 8am), we stopped by to buy two normal mochas. and 2 croissants. The bread was good as usual but the coffees ruined my morning. I was on my way to work and I had my first sip in the car. The watery coffee taste nothing like a normal mocha/ coffeeI could barely taste any coffee. There were some citrus flavour, its sweet but the sweetness is not from the chocolate. When we opened up the lid in the office, we found heaps of crystallised chunks in the coffee which is weird because we didn’t request for sugar so where do these come from?? We can’t figure our what the barista did to our coffee to make it taste this weird. Sorry that I have to leave this review because I don’t wish to drink coffees like this and waste my...
Read moreAwesome food and coffee, not so great service. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but if I was walking down the street I’d eat here again. Our waitress (who I believe was the owner) was very rude to us when ordering our drinks. A lot of items on the menu weren’t available (like kombucha) so she kept having to come back to the table and we had to choose something else on the spot. We took a while to choose and she snapped “just choose something!” which I thought was very rude. We considered eating somewhere else but didn’t feel like moving so ordered food. I’m glad we did because the breakfast food was epic. The Croque madame was absolutely delicious, and others got the bruschetta and loved it. Shame that the owners weren’t friendly though. I don’t live in the area so probably won’t...
