MAX Coffee — Restaurant in Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community

I recently got into making my own coffee with a Breville Express Impress, which has been a bit of fun and ‘cheaper’ than going out. The coffee has tasted ‘ok’. However, I recently tried Max Coffee Beans fresh from Max and it’s been some of the best coffee I’ve ever had or bought out - especially the super smooth Morning Brew. We just ordered coffee at the Packhouse market and we specifically asked for Coconut Milk but instead we got severed normal dairy milk which I am highly allergic too. This is extremely dangerous and highly disappointing as the coffees are not cheap and I now have to be on medication to work out the product in my system. I came here to have brunch last weekend, I noticed there was not anything vegan on the menu, when I asked they where quick to offer vegan alternatives for me! What they prepared was very delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to friends. It would be great to see a permanent vegan option on the menu, or at least *Vegan alternatives ask staff, as some people may be a little embarrassed to ask.
