BurgerFuel Bethlehem — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

i love bugerfuel and normally the service is amazing but im very disappointed after tonight’s experience. i ordered spud chips and the 8 pack chicken tenders, and my partner and flatmate made separate orders that included burgers. my partner was going through the food while i was driving and he said that it’s odd they put my tenders in a burger box and i said that they’ve never done that before, so he opend the box and grabbed the food out, it was an additional burger, there was no tenders in any of the bags, so i turned around and drove back to burger fuel to get my correct order. the man who i’m assuming is the manager was quite rude about it and was giving a bit of attitude to the younger girl who served me. they remade the order and took the burger and chips we touched and put them back on the shelf. when they gave me my new order, it was wrong again… so i went back again and told him i ordered the large size and showed him the receipt again, he was very rude again to me and the girl who served me. finally on the third try, i got the correct order and i asked about any compensation as i’m feeling pretty stuffed around, and just said either the burger or chips he took off us would be fine, he said no and gave me a coupon for spud fries. it was annoying having to go back so many times, but to be honest, i’m more disgusted in the fact that he put the food back on the shelf and moved a order number over too it, i personally do not like the idea of getting someone’s returned...

Poorly assembled burger. For some reason the burger (the one with chicken, bacon, relish, aoli/stilton, lettuce, and tomato was too salty. Bad flavour balance. Relish was only on one side. Lettuce pieces were too large so when you bit into it you pulled a huge piece of soggy lettuce our all slobbered in sauce. The chips were cooked well but so salty that they were inedible. I tried shaking the salt off but they were too far gone. The chocolate shake was great. Worth $7 odd dollars though? Not sure. I didn't finish my burger or fries. Terrible for the price considering this is a "burger" joint. Would have been better off going to the local fish and chip shop for a burger quite frankly. It's only two stars because the service was good and the shake was good. A lower rating is justified given this is supposed to be a burger joint and they're charging gourmet prices. I will never...

Impeccable burger experience.

Absolute perfection of a C&N Cheeseburger experienced at this branch which will absolutely have me returning. This after ruling out BF altogether following multiple average experiences from more than 1/2 doz branches across TGA & AKL. My burger tonight was superbly seared and seasoned for max flavour (to be fair, too much salt) with no trace of fat globules as experienced elsewhere, and all other ingredients perfectly dosed and spread for a consistent hold and bite throughout. It might sound obsessive but that's what makes a good burger experience. The Creme Brulee Thickshake was pretty epic also.

The sad thing is that we should be receiving this level of excellence from ALL BF branches, and from experience sadly we don't. Keep up the good work, you emboddy the BF spirit that I'm sure of and corporate...
