I've been here a few times The food is very nice and always fresh. The service is a bit slow considering it's not a very big cafe, and there is plenty of staff it seems. Every time I have come here, there has always been someone elses dirty dishes on the table. I think maybe there needs to be more attention to making sure the tables are cleared and cleaned, as it has a direct impact on someones dining experience. A hidden gem. Always reliable, with friendly owners/staff and food that is delicious and fresh. A large flat white and a truly homemade date scone will set you back only $10.50. They have the widest range of muffins and scones that come out hot from the pan in front of you. One of the reasons weโ€™re so spoilt in Waimakariri. Why...

Don't get to come past as often as I would like, best espresso in North Canterbury consistently. Also greeted with a smile and the coffee is on point. Lovely newish shop and could be double the size and still pack out. The locals know allround quality...
