I came here by myself to enjoy a meal for dinner, it was my first time ever dining in, so I could only wonder what it was like. The music was great, loved the atmosphere, the interior design, has a cozy feeling that feels like home, with all the good vibes. I was accompanied tonight by two friendly staff, Connor who was running the Bar as Bar Manager, and Courtney who was my server/waitress, taking my order - she was amazing. She was able to provide me with pretty good reccomendations on what was popular on the Menu and tell me about each dish, ultimately I ended up going with the Jack's BBQ Chicken and Chicken, Cranberry & Brie Gormet pizzas half and half. The wait time was not long and I recieved my food relatively quick in a decent reasonable timeframe one would expect. I enjoyed watching Connor, very laid back chill guy, making the drinks and had great conversation, was vastly entertaining to watch. So very friendly service from the both of these two. I can respect it as someone who works in the Hospitality Industry.
The Pizza was really filling and a lot more then I was expecting, I got the Large size. But none the less, was worth the money. I quickly came to realize you need to use a knife and fork, given the circumstances, with these kind of Pizza's not that's necessarily bad thing, everything was cooked beautifully. Which seemed pretty normal, given it's enormous size, just seemed like the appropiate way to enjoy and worked out really well. I had the Cherry Pomegranate for my drink, was different and refreshing. Also I was checked in to see if everything was alright which I appreciate the attention. Delicious. Lastly I finished the night off with a sundae dessert, just the cherry on top. Thank you for a great night good first impression, and looking after me tonight. Bonus: has parking for your bike outside, which is exactly what I needed.
Will defintely be considering this place again in the future for an occassion to dine out for dinner. Highly...
Read moreI’m not usually one to post negative reviews, but unfortunately our experience here tonight was below average. We are quite frequent customers & have always had good experiences so I’m not sure what went wrong tonight! We waited quite some time after arriving and were not asked if we were ready to order drinks or anything. We had to go up to the bar and ask for someone to come take our drink and food orders. All our meals came out aside from 1 which had been forgotten about (completely understand that this happens and is a simple mistake). We didn’t have anyone come meal check us, and we accidentally spilt a drink on the floor which was completely ignored by staff. Approximately 20 minutes passed since finishing all our meals, I had to go up to the bar yet again and ask for someone to come take our dessert orders. Our table remained completely full of dishes and leftover pizza, we eventually had to ask for someone to bring us some pizza boxes and still our table remained full of dishes, not a single one was taken, so we had to move them ourselves to a table nearby. I totally understand that it was a reasonably busy evening being a public holiday, however it certainly felt like we were forgotten about due to being on the side of the restaurant closest to the door, whilst all other tables were at the other end. We will certainly be back as like I say, we’ve never had an experience like this before, it was just a bit of a let down tonight for my nieces...
Read moreWe are a family of 6 that had a pre booked a table and we were immediately seated to it. We ordered drinks and the Lemon Lime Bitters was really good. They boys also enjoyed their milkshakes. The starters we got were Wedges (served with sour cream and chili sauce), Shoestring Fries (with aioli, tomato sauce and BBQ), Cheese Sticks (the cheese pull was so good!) and crispy chicken. For the Pizza's we got The Jack's BBQ (M) A Seafood Mariana (S)and the Butcher (L).They were really good and they provided us with a take away box for the extra. The kids menu came with a coloring on the back and when you finished you got a free soft serve with sprinkles (worth $3). For dessert the cheesecake option was champagne strawberry. We also got Ice cream Sundaes (top notch!) and a brownie with ice-cream (There were two really good sized pieces of brownie and it came with cream and ice-cream. ) There were kids books too and the atmosphere was really good. We spent around $250 and were well satisfied...
