Sal's Authentic New York Pizza - Northlands — Restaurant in Christchurch

Amazing pizza!! We went for half and half of Black garlic pepperoni and ham and pineapple for $50+. It was worth it. Good service.

We went here past 9 to get a pizza to eat in. The store already had the chairs up, although there were a couple of tables the seating seemed old and in poor shape. Considering all this, we decided to take away.

The initial pizza was stuck in the machine, so they made a new one quickly, apologised and gave a $10 voucher. Overall I would have liked the store seating to be presentable, the chairs not put up so early as the store still has 2 hours to go. One of the members of staff was way too scruffy to be preparing food. We will visit again as the pizza is...

We waited over an hour and didnt even get our food. We were dining in. My partner got up multiple times and went and stood at the front of the counter, just in case they prepared it as takeaway instead. Food never came. There was only one other group of people in there when we were leaving. Not apologetic. They said the docket was "lost" and our food hadn't even been started yet. They managed to find our order immediately on the till though, which was frustrating. They couldn't do an eftpos refund either, so we had to get cash. Someone could've checked in. An hour we sat there waiting...

Like any Sal's, anywhere in the country, the Northland's shop won't disappoint. The friendly staff and great pizza make you want to keep coming back.

When you're there, make sure you try the wings. 😁👍

Well it's been a few years and I still love coming to this place. The staff have changed over but it's still a great experience and great product. Try their dessert (can't remember what it's called). It comes with two sauces. One is a raspberry and the other is like a cream or white sauce....
