Olle — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

A beautiful hidden gem in Milford. Had heard and seen alot about it and could not wait to try it. It definitely did not disappoint my expectations. The interiors were so beautifully designed, a warm cosy space with beautiful lighting, very subtle yet eyecatching. The food was a lovely fusion of flavours. We had the kimchi mascarpone dip, crispy prawns and eggplant to start. They all lived up to our expectations, except the prawns were slightly overcooked in my opinion (but not complaining, they tasted good). Followed by scallop and crab raviollo 🤤, pork belly and nori butter rice 🤌 and finally we couldn't resist having some dessert so we tried out their Espresso crème brûlée which was absolutely amazing. My personal stand outs were the kimchi mascarpone dip, raviollo, nori butter rice and espresso crème brûlée. Oh and I definitely could not forget the delicious cocktails and mocktails. My partner and I visited this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We left super happy with the experience and it’s our new go to!

The atmosphere is cosy, loungy, easy on the eyes, warm, and aesthetic! These are the words that come to mind.

The food was a standout and the menu is enticing and makes you want to try so many dishes. There was no dish that we did not like.

The Yuzu Watermelon Sour was refreshing and tasted like real good watermelon, no artificial flavour and it’s a mocktail I HIGHLY recommend. The raviolo, Wagyu ribs, and nori rice were all so delicious! Eggplant was crispy and creamy when you bite into it. The focaccia with brown butter was rich and comforting. The apple crumble was beautifully deconstructed, tart, nutty, and perfectly balanced.

Vannesa was the best kind of waitress! Friendly, efficient, and has the perfect vibe. Her hospitality was on point.

I celebrated my birthday at Olle tonight with my family, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience. The space was beautiful—modern, stylish, and welcoming. The staff were not only friendly but super attentive and efficient.

Our kids dropped their cutlery a few times (as kids do), and each time, a staff member replaced it right away with a smile.

The food was incredible. Every dish was beautifully plated and full of flavour. I highly recommend the Wagyu Beef Ribs and the Market Fish Crudo—both were absolute highlights. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

The wine list was also fantastic—well-curated with great options. The wine we chose paired beautifully with the meal and elevated the whole experience.

We were a bit unsure about bringing the kids to a nicer restaurant, but Olle was surprisingly family-friendly while still delivering a top-tier dining atmosphere.
