Fairly decent especially when going with your Korean family. Ordered a ton of course which came out with good timing, but wish they had a few extra bowls and plates as we switched like 3-4 different dishes. Was still a bit chilly inside especially near the toilets. About 5 private group dining rooms and then 10 or so tables and booths in the main area.

Takeaway로 잡탕밥을 사와보니까 양이 container의 1/2 쪼금 넘음... 어제 유산슬과 복음밥을 똑같이 takeaway로 사왔는데 어제는 양이 이렇지 않았음. 너무 어이 없어서 전화 문의 해보니까 잡탕밥은 양이 적게 나갈때가 있다고 함. 같은 돈을 주고 사오는데 왜 양이 차이가 나는건가요? 그리고 왜 잡탕밥만 양이 다르게 나갈때가 있는건가요? 너무 어이 없음. Had a takeaway, and when i got home, i found out the food is only 1/2 full as can be seen in picture. Had two takeaways yesterday and they were NOT 1/2 full yesterday. I rang up the resturant and was informed with the dish i ordered, sometimes different portion of food can be served. I don't understand is why different portion is being served when the same amount of price is charged. And why different portion of food is served with this particular dish only? Not pleased! Either the staff/owner are so unprofessional that they arent even able to measure portions in a takeaway container, or just very greedy. Will not go back again!!!

As korean, this restaurant is selling exact same taste of korean chinese food. Jjambbong was seafoody and Jjajangmyun was savory not too sweet. Sweet sour pork was descent. Highly recommended.

Both the ganjajang and jjamppong were delicious. I ordered the large portions, and the servings were so big it was almost overwhelming. At first, I thought the place was closed because the lighting was so dim, but I realized it was open after taking a closer look. The staff were also very friendly. Visited Tae Hwa Ru with my partner and two friends, hands down the best Korean food I have eaten! We all had a very enjoyable dinner, loved every dish served and the staff are so friendly. They explained the menu to us and recommended dishes. We ate far more than we needed to but because of the quality of the food, we didn't feel ill, just very full and happy.
