I have been recently on thus location and the burgers (patties) and bagon came burned as posted photos. After complain about with the manager he explained that the production of the burgers and bacon are automatised and offered to do another pattie on manual grill and it will ttook about 8 minutes. Regardless the good will of the manager, It was NOT a pleasant experience.

Worst cheese burger ever. Payed $7 using uber eats for this pathetic dry cold disgusting thing you guys call a burger. You guys are thieves and just have no pride in what you do. No wonder you guys are always empty. Stay quiet with no customers be you deserve it.

Triple cheese burger was really cold. The cheese didn’t even melt. Bit of a bummer, 1st experience here. Probably just go to maccas next time. I ate it as I was taught better than to make a scene in public so here is my evaluation. Sorry.

All stars meal ‘we don’t have any hot dogs at the moment so you can only have option 3’ bugger, could’ve had a hot dog ‘and we’ve got no medium cups either’ cool a free large upgrade like McDs or KFC do ‘no it’s an extra dollar’ but it’s not our fault you’ve got no small cups ‘it’s not our fault either’. I’m sorry but who orders stock for a store........THE STORE. Then how come a large drink is an extra dollar but it’s only .80c more on the menu ‘it upgrades your fries too’. Way to try and up sell guys. Maybe I’ll have a shake ‘we’ve got no lids’ shucks that’s probably not their fault either. Got a shake but when it arrived it was only 3/5 full, asked for the rest of it for the girl to start going on about ice cream sizes. Sorry love I’ve eaten way too much Carl’s Jr for your excuses. 6.30ish on a Monday and no staff looked over 20, none had any customer service and they even back chatted another customer while we were there. Gisborne store you need to sort these young up starts out. Abhorrent customer relations, no wonder it’s the least preferred...

It is very weird to see why Gisborne's Carl's Jr. store is so quiet compared to KFC or McDonald's (they both are very busy that night )! I found the answer after several visits to the store, bad customer services! I am a Carl's Jr fan while I am in Auckland. Even not busy, I needed to wait to be served for 5 mins. Nobody come to the counter to serve me! Everyone busy doing their own work (cleaning toilet, making burger and taking order for the drive thorough). I saw a lot of staffs but no one cares about the front counter. Sadly, I can't have Carl's Jr. burger in Gisborne again because of their bad customer service! I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but I feel I need to otherwise these issues wont be fixed! I stopped in here with my friends who have never had Carl's Jr, and it was a huge letdown! No fires, no chicken, no milkshakes. Had about 4 or 5 staff members working and they were having problems with their computers? An absolute joke! When the restaurant was first opened, everything was great. But the last few visits were a waste of time, I understand why they never have any customers in-store when you drive by.
