Pad Thai Takeaway — Restaurant in Gisborne

One of my "go to" Thai restaurants, good value and yummy food. However, there is a tad of a language barrier as twice I've got the wrong food. So be sure they repeat your order back to you, and I prefer thai hot or extreme hot food, their thai hot is pretty tame, I add chillis when I get home. But all in all one of the better Thai take aways, when Brian and his lovely wife owned and operated Thai Sunshine around the corner they were by far the best in Gisborne. Since they closed his lovely wife makes my food from home....

Decent pad thai. Tried the pork and the chicken, and I preferred the pork. Nothing too exceptional about it, but still tasty. Could have done with a bit more meat and veggies and a few less noodles. Really good Thai food. Very friendly service. I even ate at there and can't finish and takeaway the leftover. The lady boss didn't charge me the extra takeaway box. Really hot curry as I wanted it.
