I recently visited McDonald's on 5 Cross Road in Hamilton, New Zealand, and had an excellent experience. Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly young staff member who looked like a student. He was incredibly pleasant and welcoming, which made me feel immediately comfortable. Even though he was in the middle of cleaning the area, he took the time to assist me with my order and even helped arrange my food on the table.
I was impressed by how attentive and proactive he was. Not only did he ensure I had everything I needed, but he also took the initiative to help tidy up the space, showing a great work ethic and pride in keeping the restaurant clean. It was refreshing to see someone go above and beyond in customer service, especially in such a busy environment.
The atmosphere at this McDonald's was very relaxed and comfortable. The restaurant was clean, with a spacious dining area that wasn’t overcrowded. The overall vibe was friendly, and it felt like a place where customers could enjoy their meal without feeling rushed or uncomfortable. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some good food.
As for the food, everything was up to McDonald's usual standard – fresh, hot, and delicious. I had the classic Big Mac, fries, and a cold drink, all of which were satisfying and exactly what I was craving. The service was quick, and everything was served in a timely manner.
Overall, my experience at McDonald's 5 Cross Road was fantastic. The combination of excellent customer service, a clean and welcoming environment, and tasty food made it a memorable visit. I'll definitely be returning to this location...
Read moreWorst service I have ever seen. After ordering from the touch pad and getting number 050 show up on the screen (printer was broken) we waited for 10 minutes for frozen cokes and Mac flurries. The person at the desk called out 150 three times and we waited for ages so went to ask when ours would be ready. He then told us that 150 was actually 50 and we should have known that and we the ones who were at fault. He then said they were out of the Mac flurry flavour and turned around and walked away. A customer next to us then complained to a young girl (who I am guessing was the manager) that no one helped us after telling us the product wasn’t available. They then had an argument which ended with the Mac Donald’s girl yelling at the customer that ‘we are so busy so if you don’t like it get the f* out and go somewhere else’ loud and in front of all the customers. And it’s not like this was an exceptionally busy time, and it was certainly not busy enough for a Mac Donald’s who’s entire business model involves quick service to a large group of people. Eventually we were given our frozen cokes which weren’t set properly so we were offered something else. In the end we stood there for at least 15 minutes to receive nothing we ordered and to get told it was our fault. I hope the management team has a look at this because it has been the worst customer service I have seen by a long way and I want you to know that your staff have sworn at customers which I am hoping you see as...
Read moreI want to let the manager and staff of the Five Cross Road McDonald's know that Rangi, one of your employees, is really unpleasant. She is incredibly impolite, especially to Uber drivers. She is extremely rude and has a terrible attitude. She lacks both outstanding behaviour and communication skills, which I believe are essential for MacDonalds jobs. I don't know why she is working there with her abilities lacking. I understand that she can say Uber drivers to go out as being employee, but We are not here to deal your arrogant rudeness or bossy behaviour. There are always appropriate ways to say things, she’s fully of arrogance. She might lose her job as a result, which worries me, and I think the manager will take some action after reading my review. I humbly suggest that the manager replace her because she is unqualified for the position. Last but not least, Rangi will not cooperate with your rudeness since we are not your servants. You should behave properly at work and be kind to others because you are not the manager. Try not to act like a manager because you are not qualified. Instead, I advise leaving your negative attitude at home before returning to your job. This will enable you to stay longer. I really appreciate the other staff and manager as they are very friendly and respectful. Thank you for being...
