Coffee and Tea Lovers - Botany — Restaurant in Howick

Good coffee but really bad food. We ordered the granola and the salmon bagel. Granola was literally a small bowl of Pak n save oats with half an apple chopped in and some plainish yoghurt. The bagel was a slice of packet salmon on a rubbery bagel and half a slice avo dumped on top. I couldn't cut it with the knife they gave me. Coffee was good. The lady rolled her eyes at my friend when he ordered his coffee extra hot.. Not really sure what that's about but she literally works at 'coffee and tea lovers', she's got to expect some people are fairly particular with their coffee. Won't go back, there's so much competition nearby that can do good coffee but also pair it with good food...

Wow, what an incredible experience at Coffee and Tea Lovers! I was absolutely blown away by the food. I treated myself to some pancakes that were out of this world, and my partner had the egg benedict with bacon, which was simply divine—though I regret not snapping a photo of it! Everything was so delicious and incredibly affordable. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

So bummed I didn’t take a photo of my coffee. Aesthetically it was really nice but tasted average. Thought I would have had some good coffee at the ‘coffee and tea specialist’. We came in the weekend and got attended to straight away and our coffee came straight away. We got a lemon muffin which was a little stale. Overall average experience.
