This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the industrial area. Was really dead when we got there but please don't let this decive you. The place appears to be a south African inspired with biltong and south African foods for sale on the inside. We order a long black iced coffee, spicy fries, the eggs bene with slow cooked beef and shashuka. Everything was amazing and I am adding this to my rotation of favorites cafes and usuals. The eggs bene was really good with the hash hitting the spot for carbs and crunch. The shashuka was a bit spicy and should have noted that on the menu but lucky for me and my partner we love spicy and it hit all in the right places. The ice coffee was just the right vehicle to cool my mouth down from the piping hot chips and shashuka with cumin toast. My only complaint would be the straw for the ice coffee made it hard to suck up the liquid gold. Will definitely be back and telling my friends

As the owner of two reasonably sized bully breeds, I've never found a more welcoming, hospitable place (that doesn't already advertise itself as doggy-friendly) for my dogs. We tend to pop in for brunch after a fortnightly trip to Animates for doggy showers. The lovely owners are dog lovers and let our boys come inside, sit at our table, bring them over a big bowl of water, and fuss over them. My boys end up having a scrambled egg every time. It just makes it so much easier for us to do things together as a family, as much of the time one of us has to stay home to babysit them. The food and coffee here is fantastic also. The Dude's Big Breakfast is highly recommended, with the cheesy sausages and the pistachio croissant is enough of a reason to keep going back. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, and always plenty of parking. This is our Go-To for pack-family outings!

This place is such a hidden gem, which if I'm being honest I wanted to keep hidden - but that's being selfish. The atmosphere, the cosy décor with thoughtful touches, the food, the service, just everything! They serve a diverse range of foods, including authentic South African dishes like bunny chow, biltong and vetkoek, packed with flavour and served in generous portions. There's something for everyone. The coffee art is adorable, so skip the takeaway cup and enjoy it there. It was my sister’s birthday when we visited last, and they surprised her with a slice of cake on the house. The service is always warm and personal, and as a local who’s been here multiple times, it never disappoints. Prices are very fair for the quality, and it’s perfect for a relaxed brunch or a catch up with friends. Must visit!

Went on Sunday the 2nd of August around 11am. It became apparent after our table of 4 had ordered that they were understaffed. My son had recently been before and that’s why we were there but unfortunately it was disappointing. The eftpos was down so he had to do bank transfer, that was just the start. They ordered drinks and pastries and 4 meals in total. The pastries arrived about 30 minutes after ordering and they only had to be warmed up from the cabinet. The drinks followed after another 5 minutes. 1 of the drinks was just a long black. I asked how long the wait was till our meals would be ready because at this point we thought we should cut our losses as things were taking so long. The server said she would check and said about 20 minutes. So just after this time 1 meal came, then 5 minutes later another and 10 more minutes and the last 2 arrived. Lamb stew was spicy which it did not state on the menu and the chilli brisket had no chilli in it whatsoever 🤦‍♀️ my sons chilli scramble was not like the other times he had ordered previously so definitely a let down. So basically from ordering to receiving our meals was well over an hour, my advice to the owner is always tell your customers if the wait time is more than 20 minutes. We were short on time that day and did not appreciate the long wait time. Such poor practise to just keep taking peoples orders and keep them waiting so long. Also you might want to look at your menu and see what went wrong with our food that day as my son paid a lot of money for the meals that did not reflect what we ordered. No flavour nor chilli in the brisket is bizarre as is the lamb that had spice but did...

Lets Share my experiences with Food Culture Cafe So Far I found out about them shortly after they opened. And because of the short distance to my work have visited them 7 to 8 times now The coffee is a 9.5/10 very consistent never burnt the crema on The Flat White is always the magic thickness 20sec for the sugar To run thru....etc etc Excellent Tea Choices I love a goood pot of Earl Gray The Food is a magic delight of Exotic flavored options. With some very well-known continental options with slight delicate twists to tinkle your taste buds Risk it and you will be Amazed Great choices of pastries in the display fridges are a magnet For your sweet tooth and craving belly.......you know you want it... Everything is Fresh (Made is house most likely) The Fit Out is a blend of a 5-star hotel mixed with an artist's free Flowing imagination to imprint a lasting impression on your mind To want to come back again to explore more of the food and the Calming ambiance. And the Crown of this Cafe is its Staff So Friendly So Kind And So Skilled I Be Back I Think You...
