Rosewood Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in Howick

We arrived during dinner time the place was empty, I felt a bit sorry for them. I asked if their roasted duck and pork were fresh and the answer was positive. I really wanted to support a local business so we sat down and went ahead to order roasted duck and pork. To our disappointment both were definitely no longer fresh and definitely reheated. As a Cantonese they are definitely the worst I have had in Auckland. I very politely pointed this out to the cashier that food of this quality would not get return customers, but I didn't receive any apology or ackowledgement. Maybe it was just because we didn't order the right dishes....good luck to this place and any venturing customers. I definitely wouldn't...

Love this place a lot, very convenient for me as I work in a dental clinic just a few stores away. Always received such a warming welcome from staffs, prices are also really cheap.

My Partner and I went here on Saturday during my break and we were surprised with the portion for the price, unlike most restaurants prices are usually higher but small portions, whereas, Rosewood Grill the prices were lower but big portions. Especially, the Vietnamese fried spring roll, I for one is a huge lover of spring rolls and I have never had such a big spring roll for $9 before.

It’s so hard to find a decently filling meal nowadays in Highland Park without spending more than $20. That’s until I discovered Rosewood Grill Restaurant. This Vietnamese-Chinese fusion gem offers incredibly reasonable prices without compromising on portion sizes. The dish I’ve tried has been both delicious and generously served, perfect for those with a hearty appetite like myself haha.
