Hadn’t been here in a few years and was after some Zhajiang noodles.

Firstly, will say their pancakes are the star. These aren’t to be confused with western pancakes, these are more like pastry like buns that have been pan fried with a lovely crisp to them. They have a variety of sweet and savoury versions with the plain being my favourite. They have these nice layers and a moorish texture.

Back to what we visited for - the noodles were sadly too salty and didn’t taste like it was fried. The noodles were also bit over cooked. Not horrible, just not the best.

We also got the steamed pork & cabbage dumplings. The dumpling wrappers were really nice. The filling was okay at first but then became too salty. It may just be this province likes their food more salty.

Would highly recommend the “pancakes” and would come back for these. Pretty decent sizes and a good snack or meal if you...

Very upsetting experience. I came here on June 7 around 11:30 AM with my two young children while pregnant. One dish (noodles) was undercooked, so I politely asked for a refund. Although the refund was processed, the staff became extremely angry. Two people came out from the kitchen yelling at us loudly in front of my kids, saying things like “If you don’t like the food, don’t order it!” in a very aggressive way.

My 2-year-old was terrified and cried. I felt deeply unsafe and feared they might get violent. I had to leave the restaurant carrying my crying child. This is unacceptable behavior, especially toward a pregnant woman and children. I will...

New dumpling place in Highland Park behind the Burger King. They have dumplings as well as other side dishes. I tried the tofu skin and it was quite nice. The dumplings themselves are also quite nice. they have bottles of soy sauce and chilli sauce on a nearby table. It is self service so you will need to get your own tea by the table near the counter. Chopsticks and bowls are on the same table as the sauces...

Really bad experience, disappointed on the specialty dishes, the pancake is not even crisp, and the sauce tested spoiled, kind of sour. Really worried about the food safety. When the question asked, the owner just said that’s what they do, and blamed the customer don’t know anything with insulting tone. What a day.

I've only come here during breakfast time, which starts from 7am. The Chinese doughnuts and soy milk are nice and good value for money. I would recommend you to takeaway if you do not have all day, as the wait can be really long when they are busy. My experience eating it at home is 4 🌟, if dining in, only 3
