⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First-time visit and already planning my next!
This was my first time at Jinweide Noodles, and I have my children and nieces/nephews to thank for recommending it! I was a bit unsure at first since there was only one person dining when we arrived, but the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the lovely lady at the front counter. Her friendly smile set the tone for what turned out to be a wonderful experience.
The restaurant is clean, tidy, and well-kept. The drinks were perfectly chilled, and the food—wow! Absolutely delicious. The stewed pork, with its subtle hint of cloves, was my personal favorite. It had such deep, authentic flavor and instantly reminded me of my travels through Thailand and other parts of Asia. It truly brought back some great memories.
Service was surprisingly quick—our meals came out hot and fresh without a long wait, even with a group of us dining in. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our visit.
If you're looking for real, flavorful, authentic Asian cuisine, I definitely recommend visiting this place. There are still so many dishes I didn’t get to try because I was so full (and obsessed with the stewed pork 😂), but I’ll absolutely be returning soon to explore more of the menu.
Highly recommend Jinweide Noodles to anyone who loves Asian...
Read moreWhat find ! actually went to visit my favorite Thai restaurant which is right next door but they were closed , lucky me ! Saw that the noodle house made fresh hand made noodles AND the place was full ( of what I assumed ) were Chinese folk , good enough for me ! In I went. My partner and I were the only Europeans in the place and we were warmly welcomed by young man I assumed to be the owner who explained to us a few things on the menu , we placed our order and then watched whilst our noodles were made right in front of us by hand. Thin round noodles for my partner and broad flat noodles for me, served in a beautiful clear broth with beef, daikon radish and cilantro. It was unbelievably good, filling and tasty particularly with little soya sauce and chillies in oil. It was brilliant and I will be back when next over in Botany. The staff were excellent, the place is unbelievably hygienic and I even got my photo taken struggling with chop sticks to eat the gorgeous noodles 😆 It is well past time that gems like this little restaurant were frequented by more Europeans. It was the best dish I Chinese dish i have had since eating out in...
Read moreWow... Handmade and on the spot done. Great I thought. Very clean place. The menu has all the pictures and English translation if you can't understand Mandarin. Surely look delicious. Decided to try and was expecting a good experience with quality noodles. Ordered takeaway. The takeaway box was unique as it kept the soup and noodles/meat separately. Was simple and fast but wasn't told what to expect next. However, was disappointed on several fronts. Despite ordering ahead of some, those that can but ate in after me got their meals first before I did. So long waiting time. The noodles itself was a let down as it wasn't tangy but rather soft and appears to be made from just plain flour (nothing special). The broth tasted more like something cooked up with MSG with some meat bones as it hardly hard any taste. A few thinly slice beef and that was about it. I would not be going back again to try other dishes as it just didn't live up to a 'winner'...
